The Iron Men is a group of men dedicated to serving God; determined to pick up the Lord’s armor and serve in whatever capacity He calls us. Our men have one primary mission and that is to serve regardless of His call. These men are unique in character and are willing to reach out to their fellow man and lift them up when the world throw’s them a tough punch. As men we know that the burdens placed on today’s man are great; society expects us to be strong yet soft. Using the bible we navigate our way through an imbalanced world to ensure we arise to the occasion when called upon; especially during times of conflicts, adversity and family problems. We are leaders by example for the youth so that they may grow up knowing what to expect in a Christian man. As Godly men we set the example for boys hoping that they will emulate our actions and rise up as great men of God and for the girls we want to be responsible heads of our households so that they will know what to look for in a Godly husband. Every man at Cornerstone brings unique talents and gifts that God has blessed them with; collectively these men are able to serve our community and reach out to those in need.

Men, unlike women don’t always like to talk about their prayer needs or problems they may encounter. We have a tendency to keep them bottled up and not ask for help from others. At Cornerstone we have created a texting prayer chain. By using a text prayer chain you simply send your prayer request using text messaging to the Director of the Men’s Ministry he will then send out a group text with as much or as little information you want shared with fellow Christian Men who will take a moment to pray for your need. Your requests can be anonymous; no one needs to know who the request is for; you see we know that God already knows your need before you ask. Your cell phone number is never shared with anyone; however you will periodically receive prayer text requests from other men in their time of need hoping you will take a minute to pray for them. Currently there are over 100 men on the prayer text chain willing to pray for one another.
